Cooking with one hand: the challenges with cooking in adults with hemiparesis living

University of Canberra, Bruce, ACT, 2617

This project is seeking to identify the specific challenges faced in cooking and food preparation by adults living independently, through a series of interviews over videoconference lasting approximately 30 minutes.

You can take part in the study if you are an adult who has a physical impairment in one arm – which can include paralysis, weakness or uncontrolled movements – but you have full use of the other arm, live without a full-time carer and do not have an intellectual or cognitive disability.

Questions in the interview will relate to knowledge about healthy diets, food choices and cooking experience.

Participants can enter a draw to win one of three $50 JB Hi-Fi gift vouchers.
