Summary

This Monash University research project aims to understand how aerobic exercise interventions can be designed to meet the needs of people with moderate-to-severe stroke.

Eligibility

  • Adult aged 18 years and over,
  • Able to participate in group discussion in English.

Activity

Participants will take part in a citizen panel. This will be an online workshop for survivors of stroke, family members and carers to discuss their preferences for aerobic exercise programs.

Discussion in the workshop will include:

  • sharing your understanding of the role of exercise for rehabilitation after stroke, and
  • reflecting on your own experiences to consider the underlying challenges, and
  • informing the types of interventions that may be appropriate.

The workshop is expected to take 3–4 hours with regular breaks included.
