Subjective experience of barriers and facilitators of accessing mental health treatment after stroke: a qualitative study

Researchers from Monash University are currently seeking people who have experienced mood problems (e.g., depression, anxiety) after stroke.

Participants will take part in an interview, and a researcher will ask questions about mood problems, experience of seeking professional and/or informal support, and pre-existing knowledge or assumptions about mental health treatment.

This is a chance to share your experience and help us understand what can be done to improve rehabilitation and care of stroke survivors. You will be reimbursed for your time ($50).

Interviews are conducted either face-to-face or via videoconferencing (e.g., Zoom).

If you or someone you know may be interested in participating, please contact Priscilla Tjokrowijoto by email: or phone: 0411 894 941.
