Researchers from the University of Technology Sydney and City, University of London are studying what helps people with aphasia and anxiety or depression after stroke.

This study has four main phases:

  1. A questionnaire about your anxiety or depression (approximately 20 minutes) once a week for 4 weeks, to monitor your mood.
  2. Then video relaxation training is provided for 5 weeks online.
  3. The researchers will reassess your mood with follow-up phone calls or internet video meetings.
  4. A final questionnaire about your anxiety or depression (approximately 20 minutes), and phone call or video meeting.
