– By a stroke affected person (S.A.P.) who had a clot blockage to his brain on 13/6/2012. That’s one way to stop treating stroke as a thing.
But why should anyone listen to me? Try these comments from stroke experts.
“Time is hyper – critical because brain tissue dies fast” (perhaps not) – and the general statement that clot busting serum must be injected within four hours of clot blockage.
I know of no treatment of stroke at the nano second level, but it is good to know the need for speed.
The standard four hour window for clot busting serum injection is expressed in an unfortunate way. It should be given as soon as possible up to four hours after stroke. After four hours the risk of the serum causing a brain bleed is too great. Am I on the right track?
The story of stroke is one of blood and junk, a fatty substance (plaque) which clings to blood vessel walls. In my case growing for 50 or 60 years.
A stroke is my main mental interest, and taking a lot of facts and inferring results. I have constructed a reasonable picture of stroke and its affects. But not yet.
