The Stroke Foundation (ABN 42 006 173 379) is collecting your personal information for the purpose of allowing you to access and use, and to personalise your user experience within, the  enableme website.  Some information that you upload to the website may be accessible to other users (including users outside of Australia) and you should use discretion in deciding what information to upload.  If you provide any health information or other sensitive information to us you consent to us collecting and using that information in connection with the operation of the enableme website.  You can adjust your privacy settings by modifying your enableme profile.  Your use of the website is subject to our Terms of Use.

If you have consented, or if otherwise permitted by law, we may also use your information to notify you about our other services and campaigns, including via direct marketing. 

We may disclose your personal information to third parties who provide us with, or assist us to provide, goods and services.  From time to time, your information may be provided to third parties in overseas locations, such as New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Research requests

Users seeking research participants should refer to our approval policy. Any posts about projects that have not been approved will be removed. 

General terms
Any failure by the Stroke Foundation to enforce strict performance of any of these terms of use will not be construed as a waiver of any right or remedy of Stroke Foundation in respect of any existing or subsequent breach of these terms of use. 

If any provision of these terms of use is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the provision will be deemed severed from the terms of use and the remainder of the terms will continue in full force and effect.

These terms of use are governed by the laws in force in Victoria, Australia and you unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia and any courts which may hear appeals from those courts in respect of any proceedings in connection with these terms of use or this Website.
