When Stroke Survivors are confronted with challenges and obstacles, 2 things happen in many instances.
Step 1. They find a way to overcome the obstacle that is preventing them from achieving that task. Step 2. Many Stroke Survivors will then SHARE that solution with Survivors.
Sharing lived experiences, especially in the context of surviving a stroke, holds immense value for individuals, communities, and the healthcare system.
It’s a powerful act that can foster empathy, drive research, and improve care practices.
These gestures are part of that wonderful human quality ‘GIVING BACK’-a quality that lives within many Stroke Survivors and I-REBOUND demonstrates this attitude in spades!!
