Thanks to the ambos, the stroke team who saved my life (the researchers never mention any deaths in treatment – perhaps it is covered in any margin of error). Nurses, physios, O.T.s, D.V.A., family, carers, all of N.S.F., my G.P. and specialists and to my fellow bloggers, I think we have a nice little community going.
My thinking is better than ever. I did mention spandrels in an article where physios gave me more leg exercises than I needed for good walking, but in readiness stair climbing.
Now someone has suggested that as the human species developed in size, the head and brain did so in proportion. But the brain had nothing much to do, just hunting, scavenging and procreation. Thus it was a spandrel awaiting work like art speech, the need to travel.
The sort of thing I am reading about is evolution in general and human paleontology in particular.
Enough.
