Bev’s routine includes exercises in sitting and standing.
Whilst it is suitable for stroke survivors who can stand independently and walk with an aid, it is also appropriate for people with stroke affected arm or leg.
Brooke’s full body workout with transfer practice
Brooke’s routine includes exercises in standing, sitting, and lying down and is suitable for people who can stand with supervision or minimal assistance if they have another person with them. Similar to Bev’s routine, it is appropriate for people with a stroke affected arm or leg.
This routine includes an exercise in standing and is suitable for stoke survivors who can stand independently and have good balance when moving. It may also be appropriate for people with a stroke affected arm or leg.
If you want to you can combine it with other exercises. Always warm up before exercise and do a cool down when finished.
Always speak with your doctor before starting a new exercise program. Your doctor can give you advice and refer to a physiotherapist if needed.

The Genesis of I-REBOUND
The i-Rebound website has been developed by the Stroke Foundation and the University of Newcastle and co-designed with Stroke Survivors. It has been designed to reduce the risk of subsequent strokes by providing resources for eating well and moving more.
Professor Coralie English who provides sage and strategic leadership to the I-REBOUND Project explains the objectives of this truly unique initiative.
