Blog 2: Am just jotting down anything today to accomplish something on EnableMe! I found it hard getting here again, but managed without the help of the lovely Diana! One cheer for me!
I came up here to have a rest after fiddling about all day online and awaiting a Skype call from our Sea Shepherd crew daughter on the Sanm Simon in Bremen, Germany. But she said not to stick close by the computer because the crew had so much to do preparing the Sam Simon for it's next global mission. Especially Colette, for as medical officer she has to sort out medical supplies for both the Sam Simon and the Bob Barker. She thinks maybe May 6th will be her day to start coming home via Berlin, then a tiny village in the Netherlands where Frits, her dad's only remaining family live.
On the weekend I was prepared to speak at Hobart's medicinal cannabis legalisation rally before Parliament house. I care passionately about this issue ever since I made contact with other Australians in the late1980s /early 1990s and increasingly now, since my stroke, with families and patients alleviating suffering with its use. The contact started because of my pioneering the non-drug industrial hemp industry( for fibre and food) in Australia here in Tasmania.
Too tired to continue. Always forgetting to drink enough water.
Hey I'm splurging on a massage tomorrow morning.
Also our first grandchild could arrive in Brisbane any moment from now on, to our son Nicholas and Nozomi!
