From the World Stroke Organization
Around the world stroke groups and community activities are vital in supporting people in their stroke recovery. Stroke support organisations (SSOs) play an important role in delivering these activities, often where no other services are available. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the way in which these activities are delivered and accessed, at a time when they are most needed.
