Every time I log into enableme I am continually amazed at what other stroke survivors go through in recovery. I thought I would share with you two small verses/poems that you might find helpful. These two little verses are on two cards that I have had for many years, I hope you enjoy them.
'Success'
If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't;
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost a cinch you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow's will,
It's all in the state of mind.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can.
The second one I would like to share is:
When you're lonely
I wish you love
When you're down
I wish you joy
When you're troubled
I wish you peace
When things look empty
I wish you hope
But most of all
I wish you happiness Today and Always
