At-home exercise gaming to improve balance and mobility
Hi everyone,
I am Kulvara, a PhD student at UNSW and Neuroscience Research Australia. Currently, my team and I are running a research trial 'SmartStepStroke'.
This trial is a home-based exercise gaming for people who are 6 months post-stroke and experience balance/mobility difficulties.
The aim of this study is to determine whether playing home-based exergames for 4 months can improve balance and mobility after stroke.
Participation will last about 4 months. It includes assessments undertaken at NeuRA, Randwick NSW, and the best part is, you can do fun exercise from your home.
