Researchers at The George Institute for Global Health are seeking stroke survivors, carers, and other members of the community to assist in developing an innovative new treatment for Stroke.
It is intended that this new treatment will be performed by paramedics in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The unique benefit of this test will quickly determine if the stroke is caused by bleeding in the brain.
This knowledge would then allow paramedics to commence the relevant treatment in the ambulance whilst en route to the hospital.
What will your participation involve?
You will join an in-person group discussion (approximately 60 minutes) at the George’s offices at the University of New South Wales at Kensington, a suburb in Eastern Sydney.
Each participant in the focus groups will be reimbursed in the form of a Gift Card ($ 50), and we will also reimburse travel costs if necessary.
Further details regarding participation are outlined in my blog .Researchers at The George Institute for Global Health are seeking stroke survivors, carers, and other members of the community to assist in developing an innovative new treatment for Stroke.
