The Tale of My Rehab Tape.
Some of you are aware that I am now \{because of my stroke\} fixated and dedicated to my ongoing rehab even after 5 years—as I have said previously, we Stroke Survivors are in it “for the long haul”
So today as it is grey and drizzly, I thought I would do some calculations on my Rehab Tape and here are what I consider are the highlights of my ongoing journey! See Below-
My walking is based on 340 days per year [2019, 2020 plus part 2021] - the days I missed was because of bad weather, sore feet, home commitments, etc. Have not tabulated 2017.2018.
Five years ago, prior to my stroke I would not walk to the front gate- figuratively speaking!
Not a bad effort If I might say so myself!
To light the internal flame to achieve these figures, my perpetual thanks go to Laura, Simone, Fin and Ashton at Bankstown Stroke Rehab Gym.
My objective in telling you, Fellow Stroke Survivor this is to demonstrate that -
Stroke Rehab in an infinite process- unlike a dislocated finger or broken arm.
Continual Activity brings Continual Improvement.
