In my case I was admitted to hospital on 14-06-12, after recording basic data about me. Treatment details with :- “Thrombolised with alteplase, uncomplicated”. One problem! No CT. to guide the thrombolises. This was done after I had fainted.
Looking back, as I was being assessed by neuro. Nurses, A.C.T. radiographer took the necessary exposures of me which were reviewed by the senior neurologist before the procedure. So it was there but not recorded.
Eight hours later MRI and M.R.A. were administered as compared with the prior C.T result. So our C.T result is rescued from oblivion!
Results too numerous to discuss or for me to understand. However, I worked out that the “A” in M.R.A. was probably an angiogram of a contrast medium injection. Looking for blood vessel bleeds. None reported, but a 2 m.m aneurism was found.
A lot of my heart meds. were altered so I infer that a cardiologist was part of the team. Extensive blood and tests on the serums that control life were path tested and changes made. Shorthand is, patient stabilized.
“Patient to be discharged on date (30 days from admission) to a selected rehab hospital”
The most interesting thing for me was to discover that I had MRI and M.R.A tests. See prior articles for my awaking.
