Hope that helps for you Michael.
The negative stuff - I find I still need to look at it, because otherwise it just banks up and causes more stress. But finding healthy ways to move through that negative stuff I found tricky. Again, counselling, mindfulness, exercise, and yes focusing on the good. I do end the day - going to bed with a mindset of feeling as contented as I possible can despite whatever has happened that day.
That seems to help me greatly.
