As a music lover, one particular song comes to my mind: The show must go on, by Queen! I only hope to find the strength to support my wife as she now faces her battle with breast cancer. She was there for me when I recovered from stroke - I'm just not sure if I have the same courage and strength. I'll try - I promise! Look after your loved ones!

Are we wiser or do we have more time to reflect? With a public holiday and time to reflect, I.m revisiting so many of my favourite songs and am truly enjoying it. I came to the realisation that it is twofold. Firstly, it is the music/lyrics, but secondly it is about emotions! As I listen, so many memories and emotions surface. It feels good for someone whose memory was affected after the stroke. I lost temporarily my vision after the stroke, I recently bumped into a nurse who looked after me - firstly, I didn't recognise her, but then I remembered her voice!
