A rather odd statement you might think, Thrill Seekers and Fellow Time Travellers??
Well not really, think about it Gang.
When you visit your local Bunnings Hardware Store you can expect to see an extensive range of products and items ranging from building materials, plumbing, timber, and tools, right through to garden furniture
What is also unique about your Bunnings visit you are served by a person with Lived Experience - be it a carpenter, plumber, electrician or [as I found recently\} a horticulturist!
All with years of plying their trade -and their skill and expertise is freely available to you as part of the purchasing process.
Now let’s think about I-REBOUND.
The same customer facility applies when you visit the I-REBOUND website which I have described as the “Everest in After Stroke Resources” in the Australian Stroke Landscape.
The people who appear in the Move More, Eat Well and Hints and Hacks sections are Stroke Survivors [with Lived Experience\} supported by Stroke Researchers and Clinicians from Newcastle University.
Professor Coralie English, University of Newcastle, who provided sage and strategic leadership to the I-REBOUND Project, explains this unique initiative's origins and objectives.
Take time to watch her informative video.
The product range available in I-REBOUND may not be as extensive as Bunnings, but it is just as relevant to Stroke Survivors and Carers.
The Creation of I-REBOUND.
It was conceived, created, and developed by Researchers, Clinicians, and a bunch of committed and opinionated Stroke Survivors.
This ensures that the products and services that are located on I-REBOUND fufill the needs of its primary target audiences - Stroke Survivors, their Carers, and families!
Let’s take a wander around the digital shelves of I-REBOUND and see what’s on display...
