Hi everyone,
An informative day ! Lots of walking , talking g and listening about what is needed to improve access to Stroke treatment in Rural Areas at the Big Solutions for a Big Country.
Rosie and Made the journey up from Bathurst to attend. We were welcomed and informed as the lecture and personal sharing of stroke from Tracy and Steven told the real story of lack of access to Stroke Services when Steven suffered his Stroke.
As a stroke survivor, I have always been so appreciative of the life saving treatment I received. I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for the chance I had to receive clot dissolving treatment when it was in trial stages.
I am all for continuing to support the work the Stroke Foundation do to bring together the best outcomoutcomes possible for people who have strokes . xxoo
