We can Speak

In November 2025, I had a stroke. I have aphasia and apraxia of speech.

I understand everything, but finding words is hard. Pronunciation is difficult, and sentence structure is hard.

I have been a member of Toastmasters for ten years, a non-profit organisation that helps people build communication and public speaking skills.

My Toastmasters club is very helpful. Since my stroke, I have prepared four speeches.

My world has changed.
