That's right Thrill seekers and Fellow time travelers, I am flabbergasted too!
But before your roll your collectives’ eyes allow me to set the scene for this piece of Brian hyperbole!
Last week I participated on a Webinar panel titled “Getting and Staying Motivated in Rehab’ which was moderated by Dr. Simone Dorsch, the noted Stroke Researcher, Educator and Researcher.
The discussion centred [in part] about how 3 Stroke Survivors stay motivated, years after our strokes- my stroke was in April 2016!
However, for me the conversations and thoughts generated didn’t end there.
This morning on my daily safari [my 6am walk] I suddenly wondered Just how far I have walked in my rehab, since I started my walking regime in April 2019
So, I sat down on my return and worked it out! So here goes the mathematics

Dr. Wikipedia tells me that Sydney is located 13773 km from the North Pole my only regret I did not bring my beloved Wallabies flag to stick in the pole! -Next time,
But I would have been wearing my I-REBOUND T shirt.
I had never thought of my walking in this way but it sure as jellybeans make you feel pretty proud when you get creative with the numbers.

Get CREATIVE and bring the numbers to life for your Stroke Survivor!
