Dear all, our journey of recovery in a photo. For me, it is my balance and short-term memory (tend to forget what/why/where). This is a photo of a cockpit in a glider. One of the important instruments is actually the red thread on the outside (hope you can see it). It tells the pilot if he/she is gliding straight (correct) and not sideways (dangerous). A few years before my stroke, my friend (a pilot) took me to Tocumwal (NSW) and I had the pleasure to fly in a glider - amazing experience! Now, trying not to loose sight of 'my red thread' on a daily basis! Stay safe!
