Funny stories following a stroke

I just read about a lady that wants to here some funny stories after a person has had a stroke, well I have one that I'm sure will get a giggle. Following my stoke I awoke to find I was totally incapacitated down my right side and for some reason I wasn't scared, I just said to myself "I'll get better one way or another" After a week in hospital I went to rehab and was assessed that I could have a wheelchair that only needed my left hand to wheel around in. Well the 1st one I got you needed 2 hands to move and when I was put in it I went round in circles, much to the amusement of the rehab staff. I recovered in 6 weeks and walked out of the rehab hospital.

Hi Rob,

 

Oh my, yes that would be a confusing situation and funny sight to see.  Great to know that you walked out of rehab 6 weeks later.

And that "I'll get better one way or another"   thinking it sounds like you certainly did work hard and get better.
