Hi Guys, back again.
I had a Stroke back in January this Year. I had a Recovery bordering on Miraculous.
It didn't start off that way.
I was playing a Game of Cricket with My Club of 16 Years. I've always enjoyed looking forward to the next Game.
The Stroke hit during a Drinks Break. Extreme Nausea and Balance Issues, but I decided it was just I feeling "OFF". I haven't touched any Alcohol for over 25 years, but it felt just like I was completely "Plastered".
It wasn't until the end of the Game that I rang my Wife and asked Her to come and get me. She got me Home, but soon after I asked her her to ring the Ambulance because "Something" was WRONG.
Yeah well, one of my doctors eventually sent me for an MRI and found that I had suffered a Stroke.
One Month later and I was able to Return to Work. My Employer of 16 years was Great. Lots of Walks and low intensity Pool Sessions had prepared me physically to "attempt" Working again.
I didn't Know if I could actually DO my NORMAL work still.
I remember lying in bed in the Stroke Ward only a couple of weeks earlier and wondering if I could ever even go Home, despite returning to Work.
It is now exactly 3 Months since the Stroke. I'm back to Driving,Working and seem to be completely recovered.
Will catch-up with You all later, Nick H.
