Memories Recovered

Now, we old S.A.P.S know that our current memories are shot full of holes, but events from far back can be recalled with clarity. One such popped into my mind late at night. Some to 60 or 50 years ago I was a young recruit in the navy when all the sailors in a shore base were assembled to hear the commanding officer read from a large book.“ All those subject to the kings rules and regulations, who are convicted of an offence shall suffer the penalty of death or such other punishment as is herein after mentioned.” Clear?
