1 CommentsHi,
I had a stroke in 2016, and have found airports daunting. I am mobile ...enough to get myself about and use a walking pole for balance (& so others can 'see' me), but feel incredibly self-conscious if I hold up the line in any way. - and 'Wheelchair assistance requires you to arrive an hour earlier, often wait for assistance and 'sit'. Tbh - a truly clunky experience and not what I really need.
Last week i travelled with the HD Sunflower lanyard from Melb to Sydney return.OMG! What a game-changer!!!
From check-in to airport exit, staff approached me to see if there was anything I needed., from easy/smooth transit through security and the offer for priority boarding being the most helpful things for me.
I hope others know about this program, as i only stumbled on it by mistake,
Jen
