Meet Jack and Sarah, who both have had strokes in their teens and now suffer from aphasia (communication difficulties). Their Mum’s; Joanie and Wendy are interviewing them. It is bloody brilliant, they share their perspectives.

Aphasia yes I am not sure but yes Aphasia makes life different. I had a job in BHP Brisbane as a Mobile Planner I am not too bad but communication is real hard, so the supervisor sacked me because I need to talk. Why? It is also pretty difficult, I am a Data Consultant doing heaps of work but now, Aphasia has really stopped me. So now yes I have lost most of my family and also lost my now ex wife, guess what she doesn't know Aphasia. So does anybody help most wont. I have now had 5 years since my three strokes generally I am not also too bad, but still yes I still need rehab, so yes in Whyalla I will again ask for a specialist to help me. I was living in Kalgoorlie, but Aphasia no they really wont help.
