The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health will host the next Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT) Conference in Brisbane in November 2026—marking 25 years of this landmark event.
A message from Prof Anthony Smith, SFT Conference Chair. Director, Centre for Online Health The University of Queensland, Australia.
"SFT has always been a place for honest reflection on virtual care: what works, what doesn’t, and what we are learning as health systems evolve. In 2026, we’ll continue that tradition with a program focused on innovation, evidence, and real‑world impact.
Abstract submissions close on 18 May 2026, and we welcome contributions from researchers, clinicians, service providers, and industry partners. Case studies, evaluations, implementation insights, and activity reports are all encouraged—especially those that share lessons from both success and failure.
There will also be opportunities to join organising committees, apply for scholarships, and participate as a sponsor.
I look forward to seeing many of you in Brisbane next November as we celebrate a quarter‑century of SFT and look ahead to the future of virtual care."
