Stroke Rehab can often be like a long and winding road, twists and turns, setbacks and delays but when a stroke survivor reaches their rehab destination their days are forever enriched
In many instances they are not satisfied but want to keep progressing, to keep improving such is their level of motivation and mental courage.
This was the case with Marnie and Sharon,2 Stroke Survivors whose journeys I located on Concentric Rehabilitation’s\{a leading nationally operating Rehabilitation practice\} Face Book site.
To me [as a fellow Stroke survivor] their stories were immensely powerful as they clearly demonstrated in a very human manner the whole basis of Stroke rehabilitation.
The fusion of 2 motivated survivors who were determined to regain their mobility, improve their life, lifestyle, and independence with the clinical skills from the team at Concentric Rehabilitation.
Please click on the links below and read their amazing stories and see the dedication and skill of Concentric particularly Dr. Kate Scrivener, a noted stoke clinician and leading educator at Macquarie University.
Also making an appearance is Nick Young, Director Concentric Rehabilitation who was also actively involved in their journeys.

Real heroes are not found on a footie oval, but rather using rehab to overcome the ravages of Strokes.
Enjoy.
