In early 2026, I was invited to join the University of Queensland’s Telehealth Reference Group as a Consumer Member, and I now also participate in the regular staff meetings of the University’s Centre for Online Health.
Through this growing involvement, I was approached by Ms Mahsa Haji Mohammad Hosseini, a PhD candidate, to contribute to a teaching collaboration with students enrolled in the Queensland Public Health course.
I shared my lived experience, insights, and learnings with a highly engaged group of students whose curiosity, openness, and thoughtful questions made the session both dynamic and deeply rewarding.
It proved to be a very successful event, and the highlights are captured in the attached newsletter.
