Hi, I'm 44 and had 2 strokes (5 days apart) around 5 months ago. I was recovering very well but around 2 weeks ago, started experiencing deficits that I had mostly overcome during the 1st few months. After a few stressful weeks (death of my father) I started experiencing foggy vision, slight dizziness, general faintness/weakness, numb limbs, twitchy eyes, some nausea and a bit of anxiety that usually hits in the evening and nighttime. A fresh CT and MRI have eliminated an additional stroke, have also had ECGs, but the onset and severity were quite alarming after feeling like things had been going reasonably well. Busy movement or shouting around me makes me feel ill and off-balance. Has anyone else experienced a sudden and ongoing return of issues they thought they'd previously overcome? I spent several days at hospital to investigate, but it's hard to determine how much is stroke related and how much is just stress that won't go away. I've had a few moments where I felt like my breath is taken away and can barely move for about 15 seconds, and ongoing headaches at back of my head and neck. My speech has deteriorated a bit and I'm muddling/mixing words and it seems worse that it was in the first few months following my strokes. I've booked with a GP to discuss the anxiety, in case.
Thanks.
