Ten years ago on Monday, 11 August 2016, my feet crossed the threshold of Bankstown Hospital Rehab Gym for the final time.

After four long months of intense rehab, I was being discharged. I couldn’t resist slipping back into the rehab gym on my way out, to thank some very special people who had walked beside me through those days.
