EnableMe | enableme - stroke recovery and support

So the last appointment I attended was on Friday we are nearing the final stages of getting compression and the plate sorted. It's been a loooong journey this one, as I have been doing it in small doses due to my anxiety levels from stroke. To think I would not even sit on the dentist chair at the beginning around 5 visits ago.

Now I have had 7 teeth pulled out and 2 stitches on the gum and 1 filling. I have 2 more teeth to be pulled, 1 more filling and a follow up 3 appointments left.

I then have a couple months rest to allow my teeth and gums return to normal to get the measurements sorted for the plate.

My teeth where knocked out from when I had my stroke back in 2015 and now working together to fix them, I can see a sigh of the end I'll be able to fully smile again soon and this year.

Thank you Sue, it's been quite a journey finding the right activities to participate in but finally are there, and thankfully craft has been a god sent to help me get through each dentist appointment I can sit at home, create a card or layout to keep my mind off the pain. Dealing with my stroke condition everyday long after, craft sure has been a relief.
