Do you have atrial fibrillation and take an oral anticoagulant (sometimes called a blood thinner)? The Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) Alliance would love to hear from you!
As part of an Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care grant, the QUM Alliance is developing a care plan to help people like you:
> Have better conversations with health professionals about atrial fibrillation
> Keep track of medicines and health goals
> Understand why anticoagulants are important for stroke prevention.
The QUM Alliance are running online focus groups (3–4 people per group) to review the care plan. These focus groups will run for approximately 45 minutes. You will receive a gift for your time.
If you have availability at 10 am Thursday 6 March 2025, or 10 am Friday 7 March 2025, and you can access Microsoft teams, please email info@qumconnect.com.au to say you are interested. Someone from the QUM Alliance will contact you with more information.
If you want to know more about the QUM Alliance and the work they have been doing, please visit the Health Care Consumers website.
Thanks for your interest and support in this important project.
