Why am I highlighting this Event?
These Awards celebrate the everyday heroes in our stroke community — from carers, family members, and friends to health professionals, researchers, advocates, and people with Lived Experience.
Your nomination helps shine a light on their kindness, resilience, and dedication to making a difference in stroke prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
I am biased – I am a Stroke Survivor and espouse the value of Lived Experience!

A little bit of Beh History.
In 2020 I was a Finalist in the “Improving Life After Stroke “Category and in 2021 I was the National Winner of this Category.
An Award that I am humbled to receive which sits above several industry Awards [and three international Awards\} that I received during my corporate life.
I cannot be nominated again \{in this category\} but that does not stop me from standing on the highest hill and urging YOU, dear Reader if you know someone who should be acknowledged for their efforts. NOMINATE THEM.
