This week I traveled to Sydney, and I conquered the trains.
So I was going to the St John headquarters for Channel 7 Sunrise on Tuesday. To break up the travel, and I don't like driving in Sydney, I stayed at my sister's place in Gosford.
I got up at 2:30am Tuesday morning to be on the train at 3am to get to Central, and changed trains to get to Burwood. I had to be at Burwood at 5:15am. So a very early start.
So as Tuesday was volunteer recognition day, St John Ambulance wanted as meany members there at our headquarters, so I decided to go.
I got to meet Sam Mac from Sunrise and got spontaneity interviewed on live TV. It Was also great to catch up with sol friends and make new ones.
This was a great achievement to the trains by my self into Sydney and first time after the stroke. I even had a lovely train guard who helped me find the platform I had to be on to get to Burwood.
This is another great achievement and tough me that I can do these things and go on adventures. Here are a few photos of the Morning.
