Three years ago I had a stroke and ended up with aphasia and apraxia. I hsve worked hard and have been very lucky to have the opportunity to do the LIFT programme and the COMPARE programmes for speech. My interests are relationships and the effect of aphasia after a stroke . I would be interested to hear from others about the changes between family mennbers? I would love to hear? Christine

Yes, that seems to be such a big thing: how to show that you are still you, when you can't express yourself, and are reduced to mundane responses to questions.
What are those programmes to which you refer? Could you please give a little more detail, so I can look them up.
