In reference to our stroke clinical guidelines, various devices such as robotics, virtual reality, electrical stimulation, TENS, mirror therapy, all share recommendations for use in upper limb rehabilitation, however a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist must assess a patient’s eligibility based on specific criteria to prescribe the use of these. Having some active upper limb movement is part of this eligibility criteria, among others.
Not all devices available on the internet are available within Australia and need to meet Product Certification.
Cost and Funding avenues may also be a consideration.

Depends if your completely paralyzed , it won't work or the mirror therapy doesn't work if you limb is paralyzed . They try it to see if you have movement or control .
