Does anyone have experience or know someone who had trachia tube after stroke? How long the hole in the neck heals after tube has been removed? My brother had it removed almost 4 months ago and he still has hole in his neck. Should I be worried?

Bad news , he could have it for ever to improve his breathing , but we can hope he will recover and get the hole fixed . Yes the original specialist in hospital should have told him the implecations , better than a bag to empty out in and a urinal cathater which they might fit for life .
