Living Life After Stroke
Hi everyone
I haven't been on EnableMe but you can guarantee that I have busy doing my 'stuff!'.
It was evident that there was a lack in the Caloundra area of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, for a support group for Young Stroke Survivors. Well....worry no more. It is here!
With thanks to the support of the Stroke Foundation, I have set up a new group, entitled Living Life After Stroke. There is a Facebook group LIVING LIFE AFTER STROKE for any young stroke survivor, carer and/or their family to join, where we can meet monthly by the beach, exercise (if able) and talk through issues, worries, celebrate successes etc. in a positive, supportive environment.
Any further queries, please contact me and we look forward to anyone joining this group who fits into the category and would like that extra support.

For information, this does NOT replace the YOUNG QUEENSLAND STROKE SURVIVORS SUPPORT GROUP managed by Chris Kay, but the Caloundra group is an addition, for those who live closer to Caloundra.
