Hi Kevin, yes I have tried both Flint rehab’s music glove and fitmi-I used to play saxophone so I had very high hopes for the music glove, however as much as I hate to say it, I really think they oversold the promise of it’s effectiveness, or maybe it was just for me(that old saying I’m sure you’re sick of hearing too-every stroke is different) but I’m already 9 years post so have quite set in spasticity, but because they have a money back guarantee, I got it and tried it for for that period, then ended up sending it back just before that ended, and exchanged it for the fitmi-I’d say personally I feel I’m getting more value for money from that, and some more response, however it is still very limited what progress I’m making, again it’s oversold I think(but perhaps is a lot more effective if used earlier on after stroke). However having said that, the guarantee is there so if you got it tried it and didn’t like it, they will refund you, with only the cost of postage being out of pocket; and their customer support is quite good too. I actually managed to get mine funded through my NDIS plan, as I had improving my fine motor skills as one of my goals, so the music glove(the more expensive one) fitted that goal. However I needed a supplier within Australia to be allowed to purchase it that way, or have enough to front the cost to get reimbursed(which I didn’t)-I got around that by getting somebody I know that has their own registered business to buy it in for me, then purchased from them, as far as on paper went, and that satisfied my plan manager’s requirements to pay the invoice. Give that a go if you want to try it and best of luck!
