Often we greet others with such sayings like Good Morning, Good Afternoon etc. But how does the words come? Before the words there are two key mental actions namely initial application and sustained application or Vitarka and Vichara. These are mind made. But if with a sullied mind we just say the words good morning, then there is nothing good about it. Your mind the precursor has to be with clarity and full of kindness and compassion for the others to derive the benefit of your words. Mindfulness Meditation enables you to cleanse the sullied consciousness and with such power your good morning always have high positive impact. The greatest thing in life is to give without seeking any in return. What better way is there than saying such greetings with mind imbibed in compassion, loving-kindness, equanimity and altruistic joy. Remember happiness is infectious and is also the greatest wealth.
