Thanks for your comment. I actually thought I had replied to this so my apologies. I often re-read my blogs to keep me on track as at present I am suffering fatigue and seem to have knocked me back so reading what i write often keeps me inspired, if that makes sense. I am posting a blog soon with a podcast about me so you can hear about what i did pre stroke.

Please don't take my comment the wrong way or being negative. I am just being realistic from my position.
I found my gift: to teach English to young students in Japan.
I loved giving it away. That was my purpose in life, but my stroke and aphasia took it from me.
It is hard to accept that I lost my gift.
Again, I am not trying to be negative, but just stating true in my situation.

Marcus. I think we all have our own ways of getting through life since stroke and I totally understand your side. I think that when we lose what we have it is a form of grieving and we need to get through that however slowly,. We all think differently and clearly this is just my perspective. It seems to me that you still have a gift if teaching and I hope that you move forward positively.
