Researchers at Newcastle University and Stroke Survivors have collaborated to create a Cooking Program which is designed to increase Stroke Survivors’ cooking skills and confidence after a Stroke.
It is important that this Cooking Program is practical and of appeal to Stroke Survivors.

Researchers are seeking Stroke Survivors to test this cooking program. Your participation will assist in tailoring the program to the specific needs of Stroke Survivors.
Plus, you’ll receive a $100 gift card to help cover your grocery costs.

To be eligible you need to – be over 18 years of age; experienced a Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) between three months to 10 years ago; have access to the internet; and English speaking
What Your Participation will include
A 10-week program that includes three recorded cooking videos (self-paced) and three peer support Zoom sessions (casual pace) with researchers and other Stroke Survivors.
Answering questionnaires related to diet and cooking, before and after the program.
