To start the decanulation process I spent a week with the balloon in my trachiosteomy deflated. Then my trachi was removed and replaced with a cuffless one. I'm on day two of having this new trachi and so far I am tollerating it --A night and a day so far

That is great news! Keep going. Having experienced a tracheostomy, I sympathize with you. There is nothing like the experience of having it kept clear.
