This exercise uses a computer program from New Zealand called Able-X. It is specifically designed for Stroke Rehab and involves several games that all have targets and measurements. The standard Able-X interface is a bar with an air mouse attached at one end. When you move the bar both arms move together. The mouse trolley is a home made alternative with a standard wireless mouse under the trolley that moves over the table when you move the trolley. I found this easier to use and the thing I particularly like about this exercise is that I look at the screen and my brain directs my arm movement automatically - much better than manipulative type rehab.
