About 50 or so years ago (subject to faulty memory) in the store room of electrical specialists on a navy ship, a bulkhead was covered with a pegboard for tools – some hanging there and others drawn in outline but missing. One such was missing megger. An inquiry was held with no result and so no punishment.
The pegboard of our astrophysicist friends contains an empty space marked intelligent life. Based on the fallacy that if enough samples of an object exist, at least two will be identical.
