Chapter 1: In which we meet new people.

I've decided to write a series of blogs about the past three weeks. This, the first, is where I share the good news and I leave out all the horrible stuff. That can wait for another day. Here goes:

Our precious bundle has arrived.

The date of birth? 27th May, 2019.

Time? 8.54am.

Weight? 3325grams.

Length? 49cm.

And now you probably want to know what we had, right?

A photo tells a thousand words...

We've named him Oliver, and he has the sweetest temperament. It hasn't been smooth sailing, and maybe stormy weather up ahead, but our beautiful boy is with us now and that's all that matters.

I never thought I'd be starting a family after everything that's happened, but here it is: my family.
