0 CommentsThe Australian Government’s Medical Services Advisory Committee wants to hear from people with lived experience of high blood pressure, as part of an application for a new treatment.
The treatment, called catheter-based renal denervation, uses radio waves to target nerves in the kidneys that help control blood pressure.
It is intended for people who are unable to bring down their blood pressure through medicine or changes to diet and exercise. High blood pressure is the most important known risk factor for stroke.
